पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव 2026 से ठीक पहले तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) और निर्वाचन आयोग (EC) के बीच कड़वाहट अपने चरम पर पहुंच गई है। बुधवार को दिल्ली में चुनाव आयोग की पूर्ण पीठ और टीएमसी प्रतिनिधिमंडल के बीच हुई महज सात मिनट की मुलाकात एक बड़े विवाद के साथ समाप्त हुई। टीएमसी के राज्यसभा सांसद डेरेक ओ'ब्रायन ने बैठक के बाद मीडिया से बात करते हुए आयोग पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए। हालांकि, चुनाव आयोग की तरफ से भी सफाई दी गई और टीएमसी नेताओं पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए गए हैं।
